Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the critical role of Host, also playfully called the Vibe Setter. This role is absolutely vital as it is the first point of contact for our guests and sets the tone for their entire dining experience. As the Vibe Setter, you will be responsible for being the warm, inviting face of the restaurant, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere that welcomes each guest like a friend. Your authentic engagement and exceptional hospitality will be key in leaving lasting first and last impressions, supporting our goal of transforming casual visits into loyal relationships.

Your responsibilities will include managing efficient seating arrangements, handling guest inquiries over the phone, coordinating reservations, managing call-ahead seating, and assisting with takeout orders. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a lively environment, and the willingness to uphold the brand standards in every interaction. The position requires standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds, highlighting the active nature of the job.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law
  • Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in English
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Being the welcome face of our restaurant by giving a positive and uplifting first and last impression to our guests, both in person and on the phone
  • Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business
  • Facilitate top-notch service in the restaurant with accurate communication with wait list quotes and efficient flow of guests through their dining experience
  • Being knowledgeable of all brand-related restaurant information, e.g. happy hour details or limited time offers
