The Host/Support Staff position at the Eastside Pub in Bend is a vital part of the front-of-house team, focusing on delivering outstanding customer service and supporting smooth restaurant operations. This role requires a positive and energetic person who enjoys working under pressure in a fast-paced environment alongside servers, cooks, and other team members. The Host/Support Staff serves as the first point of contact for guests, greeting customers as they enter and guiding them to their tables efficiently while managing waitlists and providing accurate wait time estimates.

In addition to guest interaction, the role includes a variety of support responsibilities essential to maintaining the restaurant’s cleanliness and operational flow. These duties range from preparing the dining area by cleaning and setting tables to managing to-go orders and answering phones. The successful candidate will ensure menus and dining surfaces are kept in top condition and will support waitstaff by replenishing condiment stands and busser stations. This role also involves closing duties such as cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal to ensure the dining area is ready for the next service period.
