This resort is highly regarded for delivering best-in-class service, breathtaking terrain, and unforgettable experiences to skiers, snowboarders, and summer adventurers from all around. At Crystal Mountain, employees enjoy a unique working environment where passion for the guest experience and dedication to excellence come together to create a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere. The resort is constantly growing, providing a wide range of opportunities for individuals looking to escape city life, build their skills, or pursue career growth within the ski industry.
The role of Hostess/Host at Crystal Mountain's Food and Beverage department is integral to the restaurant's operation and guest experience. This position offers full-time and part-time opportunities with a pay starting at $17.13 per hour plus tips. Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager and Supervisors, the Hostess/Host is responsible for managing the flow of guests through the restaurant, ensuring that seating is optimized, wait times are communicated effectively, and guests are warmly welcomed with attentive service. Critical to the role is the ability to work collaboratively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to time seatings and maintain smooth service during busy shifts. The Hostess/Host also assists with setup, maintains cleanliness of the host stand and entry area, and supports service during peak periods, making them a vital team player in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Employees thrive in this culture that encourages growth, fosters connections, and celebrates the spirit of mountain adventure. The resort offers a host of exceptional benefits, including a free Alterra season pass for employees and their eligible family members, generous discounts on lessons, rentals, food, and retail, as well as access to exclusive employee events and housing assistance. With opportunities for advancement and year-round employment, Crystal Mountain is an ideal workplace for anyone eager to grow their mountain roots, be part of a passionate community, and contribute to memorable guest experiences in a stunning mountain setting.
