Job Description
Cooper's Hawk is a unique dining and wine experience destination that combines a Napa-style tasting room with wine-inspired retail, a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space. Since its inception in 2005, the company has been dedicated to delivering a modern-yet-casual dining atmosphere where every menu item is crafted from scratch to perfectly complement their award-winning wines. Beyond the exceptional food and beverage offerings, Cooper's Hawk operates one of the largest wine clubs in the world, providing members with exclusive privileges such as curated dining and travel experiences. This strong emphasis on integrating food, wine, and hospitality into a lifestyle brand sets Cooper's Hawk apart in the hospitality industry.
As a Host Service Assistant at Cooper's Hawk, you will play an integral role in crafting memorable guest experiences from the moment guests enter the establishment. This position is vital in maintaining the smooth flow of service, from greeting and seating guests to running food and resetting tables. The role offers a fast-paced and dynamic environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and genuine care for each guest and each dish are paramount. Working in this capacity means that every shift is an opportunity to exemplify Cooper's Hawk's commitment to uncompromising hospitality and thoughtful service.
In addition to fostering a welcoming environment, Host Service Assistants at Cooper's Hawk are responsible for managing various aspects of guest interaction and restaurant operations. This includes greeting guests with enthusiasm, coordinating table flow to ensure timely service, and assisting with core dining room tasks such as clearing dishes and supporting the service team. Communication and coordination with servers, bartenders, and lead hosts are essential elements of this role, ensuring that the guest experience remains seamless and enjoyable throughout their visit. Moreover, this position emphasizes knowledge sharing, encouraging team members to educate guests about the unique qualities of Cooper's Hawk's wines, including their exclusive Barrel Reserve selections.
The company offers multiple benefits to support both the professional and personal growth of their team members. Host Service Assistants have access to generous dining and retail discounts, monthly wine tastings, medical and dental coverage, retirement planning with company matching, and paid time off with flexible scheduling. The role also includes wellness and mental health support, career development plans, and various rewards programs. By joining Cooper's Hawk, individuals become part of a thriving hospitality team committed to creating a distinctive lifestyle brand rooted in exceptional food, wine, and service.
