Currently, The Standard is seeking a Le Bain Host for their vibrant Food and Beverage department located at The Standard, High Line in New York City. This role is pivotal in shaping the guest experience as the first point of contact for visitors to Le Bain, the hotel's celebrated dining and nightlife venue. The Le Bain Host is responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing reservations, and efficiently maximizing the seating capacity of the restaurant space. This position involves significant guest interaction, requiring excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple reservations and seating arrangements seamlessly. The host must ensure tables are properly set up, inform servers and bussers of reservations and special guest needs, and maintain the presentation and condition of menus. This role demands organizational prowess and teamwork, as well as the ability to communicate important information regarding VIP guests or special events to relevant staff members.
