Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and service standards
- Demonstrated respect for diversity and inclusion

- Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
- Strong communication skills, including clear and informative writing
- Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

- Follows instructions and responds to management direction
- Completes tasks on time or communicates alternative plans
- Willingness to ask for and offer help when needed
Job Duties
- Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus in a timely fashion
- Perform proper checkout at the end of shift as outlined in side work checklist
- Follow all appropriate systems outlined in the Service Manual
- Maintain service standards set forth in the Service Manual
- Follow guidelines for guest recovery, as necessary
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of service area and tools
- Return all items to their properly zoned location
- Use tools in the proper manner as outlined in the Service Guidelines
- Attend all ongoing training sessions
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff
- Follow all prescribed systems of organization and cleanliness
- Maintain levels of quality and service as outlined in the service manual
- Complete all before, during and after shift paperwork
- Follow all opening and closing checklists and sidework
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting in other areas of the hotel when needed
- Build solid relationships with colleagues
- Treat colleagues with respect and dignity
- Deliver passionate and engaging service to guests
- Recognize and anticipate guests’ unique needs to exceed expectations
- Consistently deliver the GUEST model: Greet, Use eye and ear contact, Establish needs, Solve requests/complaints, Thank guests
