Job Requirements
- Experience in high volume full service restaurant
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and team members
- Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- MMS and Micros experience preferred
- Clark County Health Card

Job Duties
- Properly present clean menus to our guests
- Collect and inspect all menus, discarding the worn ones
- Maintain the professional appearance of the hostess stand
- Supply guests with information on services available at the Hotel/Casino, including all of our restaurants
- Monitor the waiting line to determine if there are large parties waiting
- Answer telephone at the hostess stand
- Monitor the performance and completion of sidework
- Handle initial guest complaints
- Inform manager on duty immediately of any problems or concerns
- Assure smooth transition during shift changes
- Remain on duty until relief is present and acknowledges that they are ready to take over
- Ensure that tables are properly set to start each shift
- Assist the manager with breaks
- Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members
- Performs related work as requested
