We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable Host Person to join our vibrant Food & Beverage team. This role is pivotal in creating meaningful first impressions and ensuring our guests receive warm, courteous, and professional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. The Host Person acts as the welcoming face of the restaurant, handling guest reservations, managing seating, and maintaining a hospitable atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth. Your contributions will directly impact the guest experience by facilitating smooth restaurant operations, assisting the wait staff, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the restaurant setting.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who desire to be part of a dynamic team within a luxury resort environment. With an hourly wage of $16.00, the role demands physical stamina to be on your feet for most of the shift, managing tasks such as replenishing beverages and condiments, setting tables, monitoring guest satisfaction, and assisting with special events. You will work closely with team members to ensure the highest levels of service and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a host person or similar role
  • Ability to work most of the shift standing and moving
  • Capability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Food Handlers Certification preferred
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of host person experience in a similar role
  • Experience in hotel settings preferred
  • Food Handlers Certification preferable

Job Duties

  • Deliver best-in-class service to guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
  • Extend a warm greeting to guests upon arrival and express gratitude upon departure
  • Continuously replenish beverages and condiments, focusing on coffee and tea
  • Receive, record, and coordinate restaurant reservations and special events
  • Assist with rolling silverware, replenishing condiments, and restocking supplies
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper functionality of restaurant and service workstations
  • Perform physical tasks including kneeling, stooping, lifting and carrying 50-75 lbs
  • Remain standing and moving throughout the shift in restaurant and kitchen areas
