Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service or restaurant experience is a plus but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
  • professional appearance and positive attitude
  • ability to multitask stay organized and manage guest expectations
  • comfort using reservation and seating systems such as opentable or similar
  • ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends days nights and holidays
  • must tolerate prolonged periods of standing walking occasional kneeling bending and stooping
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed to carry trays of food
  • ability to bend reach and move quickly in a high-traffic environment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure
  • must tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly with a friendly professional and welcoming attitude
  • manage reservations waitlists and seating assignments to ensure smooth restaurant flow
  • escort guests to tables and provide menus as needed
  • communicate accurate wait times and provide updates to guests in a courteous manner
  • coordinate with servers bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service timing
  • answer incoming phone calls provide restaurant information and assist with reservations or inquiries
  • utilize online reservation tools to accept and modify guest reservations
