Job Description

Delaware North's Patina Group is a renowned leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most iconic kitchens in the world. The company is family-owned with a rich history spanning over 100 years and operates in diverse environments including sports arenas, national parks, casinos, and more. At Delaware North, the focus is on people, and the company prides itself on fostering a global legacy that offers unique career growth opportunities for its employees. Their hospitality operations include restaurants, hotels, gaming, retail, and operations, providing a wide range of job opportunities for both part-time and full-time team members. The Patina Group specifically manages prestigious venues such as those in the Downtown Disney District, including Naples Ristorante E Pizzeria, Centrico, and Paseo in Anaheim, California.

The role available is for a part-time Host at Paseo, located in Anaheim, California. This position plays an essential role in guest services, acting as the first point of contact for guests as they enter the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing the host station, creating seating charts based on floor plans and reservation books, and ensuring the smooth flow of seating to control wait times. Additionally, the Host will inspect dining and serving areas to maintain cleanliness and proper setup, respond to guest complaints, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. The position also includes answering the restaurant's telephone during operating hours. This is a tipped position with an hourly pay of $20.42, excluding tips.

Delaware North values the personal and professional well-being of its team members and offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide comfort, safety, and security. All team members receive weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. Eligible team members may also access health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. The company encourages applications from individuals with prior guest service experience but does not require a high school diploma or GED.

The work environment is fast-paced and demands energy and multitasking abilities. Physical requirements include the ability to remain on feet for the entire shift, maneuver between tables and corners, and lift up to 35 pounds. Shift details include working days, evenings, holidays, weekdays, and weekends, offering flexibility in scheduling. Delaware North is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected categories. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to work in a prestigious hospitality environment that values teamwork, customer satisfaction, and career development.
