We are currently seeking a friendly and mindful Host to join our team. In this important role, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting the brewery, responsible for warmly welcoming them and ensuring a seamless seating process that contributes to their overall positive experience. Your role will extend beyond greeting guests; you will manage the operational side of seating arrangements, support takeout order management, and uphold cleanliness standards that reflect the restaurant’s high standards. This position is ideal for someone with an outgoing personality who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys making genuine connections with people.
As a Host at Nexus Brewery, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, communicating wait times accurately, and helping to create an organized and welcoming atmosphere. You will also help manage takeout orders, ensuring they are accurate and ready promptly, while maintaining a neat and presentable host stand. Cleanliness duties will include keeping restrooms in excellent condition to guarantee a safe and comfortable guest experience.
In addition to guest-facing responsibilities, you will provide essential communication support by answering phone inquiries and taking to-go orders with professionalism and clarity. The role requires maintaining composure under pressure to support your team effectively and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the restaurant. Scheduled hours include weekday and weekend shifts, offering some flexibility and additional hours during peak periods or when needed.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to teamwork. While previous hosting or customer service experience is a plus, it is not a strict requirement. Physical capability to carry trays or supplies weighing between 10 to 30 pounds is necessary. Job Requirements
- Must be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- additional hours may be available when the current host is on vacation or during peak times

- previous hosting or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties
