Currently, the Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated Chophouse Host to join its dynamic food and beverage team. This role is integral to delivering the exceptional guest experience the hotel is known for. The Chophouse Host is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring guests are comfortably seated while explaining daily specials and promotions. The position requires a friendly, courteous, and professional approach to service, contributing to a superior level of guest satisfaction. The host will work closely with servers and kitchen staff, coordinating orders through the Point of Sale system, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant. Job Requirements
- Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication
- Ability to recall and promote menu items
- Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform
- Innate desire to serve and ability to maintain service and departmental standards
- Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests and explain specials and promotions
- Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system
- Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests
- Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials
- Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return
- Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments
- Maintain self-banking procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
