The role in question entails a frontline position focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a lively, high-volume setting. The successful candidate will be the initial point of contact for guests, managing incoming telephone inquiries regarding directions, hours, and to-go orders, as well as addressing questions about the products and services offered. This position demands maintaining a consistently positive and professional demeanor amidst the noise and activity typical of a busy restaurant. In addition to guest interaction, maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, utensils, and countertops according to established procedures is critical to ensuring a safe and pleasant environment. Beyond routine duties, the position requires proactive communication with management concerning operational issues such as service quality, cleanliness standards, and timely adherence to operational deadlines. This role also supports team morale and helps sustain a respectful atmosphere for both guests and staff. Safety and security protocols, including compliance with responsible alcohol service policies, fall within the scope of responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of security for all patrons and employees. Job Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a high-volume environment
  • Effective communication skills with guests and management
  • Keen attention to cleanliness and sanitation procedures
  • Understanding of and adherence to safety and security procedures including Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy
  • Ability to handle multiple operational issues quickly and efficiently
  • Must be physically capable of moving up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work Sundays on a rotating basis

Job Qualifications

  • All employees are required to be available on Sundays on a rotating basis
  • Able to remain standing and active for up to an 8-hour shift
  • Must be able to move items up to 30 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet

Job Duties

  • Answer telephone to provide callers with directions, hours of operation, to go orders, etc.
  • Answer questions guests have regarding our products or services
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and counter tops following standard procedures to ensure sanitized drinking and eating surfaces
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working in a loud, high-volume environment
  • Reflect positively on the company and its staff
  • Communicate with all guests in a congenial manner
  • Communicate with all Managers operational issues concerning the quality of service, cleanliness, and efficient operations
