Job Requirements
- Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns
- Inform immediate supervisor of concerns and assist in implementing corrective measures
- Provide courteous service at all times
- Maintain contact and communication with kitchen, management, and serving staff
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Ability to perform other duties as directed

Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- College degree preferred
- Six months related experience in hospitality or service industry
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
- Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. Property Management System)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at tables or in the lounge
- Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs
- Provide guests with menus
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service and respond to complaints
- Receive and record patrons' dining reservations
- Operate cash registers and prepare cash receipts
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, and serving staff to ensure smooth operation
- Assist in training other hosts and hostesses
- Assist in planning functions or special events and services
