Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work lunches and dinners and have mostly open availability
  • must have reliable transportation
  • must be willing to adhere to dress code requirements
  • must be a US Citizen or legal resident
  • must have at least 1 year of hosting or serving experience in a full-dining restaurant
  • fast food chains or any restaurant without dine-in services does not count

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • high-end restaurant experience such as casual fine dining or above
  • able to manage a reservation system and optimize flow controls
  • knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus
  • able to provide top-notch customer service
  • display a professional, positive, and friendly demeanor at all times
  • ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
  • willingness to take instructions professionally and understandingly
  • ability to solve basic math problems

Job Duties

  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • manage all reservation systems and optimize flow control
  • seat and accommodate dine-in customers including assisting with seating changes and ensuring fair distribution among servers
  • answer phone calls professionally, assist customers, employees, or vendors, and take reservations
  • handle to-go orders accurately and professionally following all food and beverage handling protocols
  • count and handle register including all forms of payments and balancing cash at shift end
  • know the menu thoroughly
  • perform side jobs before, during, and after shifts as assigned
