Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized hospitality leader committed to providing exceptional guest experiences and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. As one of the world's largest hotel companies, Marriott International operates a portfolio of renowned brands including St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. St. Regis is synonymous with luxury and bespoke service, offering timeless glamour combined with modern sophistication across more than 50 locations worldwide. The brand is celebrated for its signature Butler Service and a dedication to delivering flawless, anticipatory service in some of the most prestigious addresses around the globe. Marriott International prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, actively promoting an environment of inclusion and accessibility where the rich blend of backgrounds, talents, and experiences of its associates are valued and celebrated. The company strictly adheres to policies that prohibit discrimination on any protected basis such as disability and veteran status, ensuring a workplace where all associates can thrive and grow.

The position of Host at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts plays a critical role in shaping guest impressions and ensuring seamless dining experiences. The Host is the first point of contact for guests entering the dining area, tasked with warmly welcoming them and efficiently managing seating arrangements. This includes greeting guests, determining the size of their party, and escorting them to clean and appropriately arranged tables that meet their needs. Hosts ensure the dining environment upholds the highest standards by arranging tables and place settings, verifying menus are clean, current, and plentiful, and maintaining overall cleanliness through clean-as-you-go practices. The role requires constant vigilance in monitoring the dining room for availability, service quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. Hosts follow all safety protocols, report any accidents or unsafe conditions promptly, and complete necessary safety training and certifications. Maintaining a polished personal appearance and professional demeanor is essential, along with handling telephone communications courteously. The Host collaborates closely with other team members to support common goals and address concerns effectively, helping maintain the quality and standards guests expect from the St. Regis brand. While no prior work experience or supervisory background is required, the position suits individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to contribute to an outstanding guest experience. The position involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and may require lifting or moving light objects. Joining St. Regis through Marriott International offers a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class hospitality team where you can start your purpose, belong to an amazing global community, and become the best version of yourself.
