Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs and place menus in front of guests
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide needed assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and furnishings are in order
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and practice clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Monitor dining room for seating availability, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report any concerns
  • Maintain uniform and personal appearance to company standards
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests using professional language
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
