This opportunity with Topside is a seasonal, part-time, non-management role that offers a competitive pay rate of $27.30 per hour. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior work experience required
- Experience in food service environments is a plus
- No supervisory experience required
- No licenses or certifications required

Job Duties
- Receive guests and determine the number of people in the group
- Indicate seats to guests offering clean and available tables
- Remove chairs and place clean and updated menus in front of each guest
- Guide guests through the dining areas and assist as needed
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery for special group needs
- Ensure cutlery is appropriate and each guest has napkins and other standard place setting items
- Check menus for cleanliness, completeness, and updates
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- Monitor seating availability, service quality, and guest safety and welfare in dining rooms
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to managers
- Participate in safety training and obtain certifications
- Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Keep proprietary information confidential and protect company property
- Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others
- Answer phones using proper protocols
- Cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals
- Listen and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns
- Ensure quality standards and expectations are met
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects up to 10 pounds unassisted
