In this Host position, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the dining area. You will greet guests, ascertain the size of their party, and guide them to clean, available tables, enhancing their overall dining experience with attentive and friendly service. Your duties include arranging tables and chairs appropriately, ensuring place settings are complete with napkins and clean silverware, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of menus. Throughout the shift, it is critical to monitor the dining room for seating availability, guest safety, and service quality, making sure that the environment remains welcoming and organized.

Your role will also include following all company policies related to safety and security, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions promptly, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, answer telephones courteously, and foster positive relationships within the team to contribute to a collaborative workplace culture. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as moving and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

This position is ideal for those new to the hospitality field, as no prior experience or supervisory roles are required. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
