Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- pull out chairs
- place clean/current menu in front of guest
- guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
- ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins, clean silverware, and other items
- check menus for cleanliness and currency
- maintain cleanliness of work areas practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- follow all company safety and security policies
- report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- develop positive work relationships
- support team goals
- listen and respond to concerns
- ensure adherence to quality standards
- perform physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods
- move, lift, carry, and place objects under 10 pounds
- perform other reasonable duties as requested
