Job Duties
- greet guests and determine the number of people in the group
- direct guests to clean and available tables, remove chairs and place clean, updated menus
- guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery to accommodate special group needs
- ensure that cutlery is appropriate and that guests have napkins, clean utensils, and all necessary table settings
- check menus to confirm they are updated, clean, complete, and free of wrinkles
- maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day via constant cleaning procedures
- monitor seating availability, guest service, safety, and well-being in dining areas
- comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions to management, undergo safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean and professional appearance, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company property
- acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phones using proper protocol
- foster positive working relationships, support team objectives, listen and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
