The Host/Hostess is responsible for managing the waitlist, accommodating special requests, and maintaining an organized seating rotation. Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Seat guests in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and promotions
- Handle waitlist and special requests with a positive attitude
- Offer guests all available seating options
- Stay abreast of floor plan information and seating rotation
- Accurately use guests' names and information
- Communicate effectively with the servers and kitchen staff
