Job Description
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is a prominent hospitality company known for managing and operating some of the most iconic destinations across the United States and worldwide, including national parks, hotels, resorts, sports venues, and casinos. One of its notable locations is Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls, New York, which holds the distinction of being the country’s original state park. This park is a breathtaking natural wonder and a major tourist attraction, featuring three massive waterfalls, vibrant wildlife, and a variety of attractions and recreational activities. Delaware North’s dedicated team works collaboratively to ensure visitors have memorable experiences while exploring the park’s trails, boat rides, interactive exhibits, and scenic views. With over 100 years of history and a family-owned ethos, Delaware North is deeply invested in fostering a supportive and growth-oriented working environment.
Delaware North is currently hiring seasonal Hosts to join their team at Niagara Falls State Park. This role offers an hourly wage of $16.00 and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking seasonal employment in a lively and fast-paced environment. Hosts play a key role in greeting guests and managing the host station in the park's dining facilities, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and their needs are met promptly and efficiently. The Host will be responsible for reviewing seating arrangements, managing wait times, and overseeing the cleanliness and setup of dining areas. Additionally, the Host acts as a point of contact between the restaurant and its guests, addressing any concerns, providing information, and contributing to an overall positive dining experience.
The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and thrive in dynamic environments that require multitasking and excellent communication skills. No high school diploma or GED is required for this position, making it accessible for a diverse range of applicants. Delaware North offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible year-round team members, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, tuition or professional certification reimbursement, and more. Employees also receive perks such as free shift meals with drink refills, free on-site parking, a 30% discount on retail items, and opportunities for internal mobility and career growth across their nationwide locations. This seasonal host position is a great way to gain experience in hospitality, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of one of America’s most famous parks, and be part of a global hospitality legacy.
