The role of Host at Fairmont Century Plaza is a pivotal position within the food and beverage team, serving as the first and last point of contact for restaurant guests. Job Requirements
- Must provide proof of current eligibility to be employed in the United States
- Must have excellent communication skills and be very organized
- Must have legible penmanship
- Must have calm and warm manner
- Preferred previous customer service experience
- Successful completion of Host position training program
- Must pass Food, Beverage and Service Knowledge Quizzes
- Able to speak English clearly at advanced level
- Able to read and write English
- Able to communicate clearly and listen attentively to management, guests, and fellow employees
- Able to make good decisions where guests and co-workers are concerned
- Demonstrates good judgment
