Delaware North’s Patina Group is currently seeking part-time Hosts to join the team at Hundredfold American Brasserie. This role is essential to creating the first impressions guests have when they enter the restaurant. As a Host, you will manage the host station, warmly greet and seat guests, and oversee the flow of seating to ensure smooth operations and minimal wait times. The position offers a starting pay of $17.50 - $19.00 per hour, exclusive of tips, reflecting the tipped nature of the role. While this is a part-time position, it includes the opportunity to work in a prestigious dining environment with a team dedicated to delivering excellence in hospitality.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain on feet for entire length of shift
  • ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
  • ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred
  • ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • no high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts
  • seat guests and maintain control of wait times
  • inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
  • speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving
  • answer restaurant telephone line during assigned hours of operation
