The role of Host at the House of Dior New York is a pivotal position designed to serve as the very first ambassador of the Dior experience. This role requires a refined, engaging, and impeccably presented individual to create an inviting and sophisticated environment for every guest. Far beyond a simple greeting, the Host is responsible for cultivating an atmosphere of warmth, grace, and exclusivity from the moment clients enter the boutique. By discerning the client’s needs discreetly and guiding them thoughtfully, the Host ensures every visit is seamless and memorable, reflecting Dior's unwavering commitment to luxury and impeccable service.

Within this role, the Host facilitates the personalized journey of each client by connecting them to the appropriate Brand Ambassadors and offering curated tours of the boutique. This intimate knowledge of Dior’s extensive collections, services, including exclusive spa offerings, and brand heritage allows the Host to deliver insightful recommendations and anticipatory client service that exceeds expectations. Mastery of boutique technology and client management systems is essential to ensure fluid and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Host contributes to maintaining the highest standards of boutique presentation and ambiance while supporting special events and clienteling initiatives, adding to the boutique’s reputation for outstanding service.

The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive salary range of $18 - $24 per hour plus bonus eligibility, commensurate with experience and skills. Job Duties

  • Elegantly welcome and greet each client upon arrival, creating an immediate and positive first impression that embodies the Dior spirit
  • Discreetly ascertain the purpose of the client's visit, directing inquiries and anticipating needs with grace and efficiency
  • Introduce clients to the appropriate Brand Ambassadors, facilitating a personalized and effortless experience
  • Provide exceptional, anticipatory service, exceeding client expectations with a proactive and attentive approach
  • Offer curated tours of the boutique, providing suggested recommendations and insightful assistance
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Dior's collections, services, and heritage, including our exclusive spa offerings
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing boutique technology and client management systems
  • Manage boutique traffic with discretion and maintain an orderly and inviting atmosphere
  • Support and participate in special events and clienteling initiatives
  • Support in maintaining highest standards of boutique presentation and ambiance at all times
