Job Duties

  • Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner as they come in and leave
  • ensure guests' complete satisfaction by exceeding their expectations including ensuring tables are clean and set with utensils and napkins
  • manage the reservation software and seat guests promptly while maintaining an organized seating chart
  • observe and track clean, dirty, and occupied tables
  • take guest information for the waiting list and quote wait times accurately
  • greet and seat guests and present menus or QR code coasters
  • clean, organize, and stock menus at the host/hostess stand
  • answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide restaurant information
  • fill to-go orders if applicable
  • understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders
  • verify correct food orders with customers and notify management of any issues
  • maintain complete knowledge of the menu to answer customer questions
  • work collaboratively with all personnel to maintain an effective service atmosphere
  • perform other duties as assigned
