The Oneida Nation is a federally recognized Native American tribe located in Wisconsin, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of its community through various cultural, economic, and social initiatives. Oneida Nation operates a number of services and enterprises, including gaming facilities, aimed at offering high-quality entertainment options that promote economic development and preserve cultural heritage. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to community values, the Oneida Nation holds a vision of becoming Wisconsin's first choice for casino entertainment and a mission to ensure a friendly, safe, and enjoyable gaming experience for all patrons. The organization upholds core values encapsulated by the acronym PARIS: Professionalism, Accountability, Respect, Integrity, and Sincerity, fostering an ethical and service-oriented environment.

Within this vibrant and customer-centric setting, the Oneida Nation's marketing department is currently seeking a dedicated Casino Host to join their team. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation starting at $16.39 per hour, which is negotiable and supplemented by commission based on performance. Additional financial incentives include shift differentials for evening, weekend, and overnight hours. Successful completion of the probationary period results in a wage increase, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to rewarding dedication and hard work. Multiple shift options are available to accommodate diverse scheduling preferences, including Wednesday to Saturday and Tuesday to Saturday shifts.

The Casino Host will work closely with management to implement marketing strategies and contribute to the overall success of the casino entertainment experience. The work environment is typical of a busy casino floor, involving frequent interaction with guests and team members amid elevated noise levels. Evening and weekend shifts are common, emphasizing the importance of flexibility and dedication.

Candidates interested in this role must be at least 18 years old and either hold a high school diploma, HSED diploma, or GED certification, although applicants aged 50 and over are exempt from this requirement. A minimum of three years of experience in marketing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or a gaming-related field is required. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience with CMP (Casino Marketplace) database systems, helping to optimize player development and marketing efforts. Physical demands include walking, reaching, talking, and hearing frequently, and employees must complete tuberculosis screening within 30 days of employment.

The Oneida Nation embraces a diverse and inclusive workforce, respecting all individuals regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability status. Special hiring preference is given to individuals of Indian ancestry and veterans in accordance with applicable laws.
