This role as a Host or Hostess at The Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of this welcoming team. Hosts and Hostesses are the friendly faces our guests see first, responsible for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with others, take pride in providing outstanding customer service, and are eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, providing flexibility to accommodate different lifestyles.

Job Requirements
- must be at least 17 years old
- reliable and punctual
- ability to stand for extended periods
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work well under pressure
- commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- willingness to learn and take direction
- basic computer skills for reservations
- positive attitude and friendly demeanor
Job Duties
- greet guests and manage seating arrangements
- answer phones and handle reservation requests
- provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive guest experience
- assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station
- communicate effectively with serving staff and management
- manage waitlists and update guests on wait times
- support team members during busy periods
