Job Requirements
- Ability to hear and fluently speak, read, and write English
- Completion of host training including alcohol service and safety courses
- Knowledge of company core values, policies, and procedures
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of host training phases including Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Knowledge of front of house systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic math and time management
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment preferred
Job Duties
- Courteously open door and greet guests immediately upon arrival
- Thank guests as they depart and inquire about their experience
- Stay organized and act with urgency
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host station
- Assist with stocking, running food, and side work
- Ensure compliance with company goals and communicate with management
- Control seating and guest flow
- Operate phone, intercom, and paging systems effectively
- Bus and clean tables and dining areas
- Handle to-go order packaging and cash handling
- Balance cash register and manage transactions
- Adhere to company policies and social media guidelines
- Communicate openly with team members and management
- Follow regulations regarding responsible alcohol service
- Stay informed on menu updates and promotions
- Perform other duties as assigned
