The Alhambra Theatre, a prominent venue known for showcasing a diverse array of performing arts, is seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join its team in an entry-level position. This historic theatre, celebrated for its vibrant performances and community engagement, offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment that caters to both patrons and performers alike. The role involves a variety of customer-facing and support-related tasks that are crucial to the seamless operation of the theatre. Responsibilities include preparing all preshow ticket and chart materials, handling walk-up ticket sales and inquiries at the podium, and managing partner ticket exchanges efficiently. The candidate will be expected to distribute Stagelight according to established policies and ensure that all guests are seated promptly and correctly per assigned seating guidelines. Additional duties include reviewing show reports and preparing celebration lists, collecting and entering Kilwin forms, assisting the service team with bussing tables when appropriate, and delivering cast meals as required.
This position demands excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive customer experience at all times. The successful candidate should maintain up-to-date knowledge of current product offerings and event happenings at the theatre, adhering to the established dress code. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the role requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties
- Prepare all preshow ticket and chart materials as required
- Handle all walk-up ticket sales and inquiries at podium
- Handle all walk-up partner ticket exchanges and inquiries at podium
- Distribute Stagelight according to group and individual policies
- Properly and promptly seat all guest per assigned seating guidelines
- Review show reports and prepare celebration list thoroughly
- Make sure that all Kilwin forms are collected from the guest and placed in drawing basket
- All Kilwin forms entered into spreadsheet as required
- Assist service team with bussing of tables when appropriate
- Deliver cast meals when required
- Answer inquires in a positive and informative manner ensuring a positive costumer experience
- Keep up with all current product offerings and event happenings
- Dress appropriately within dress code at all times
- Assist customer relations team when necessary
