Job Requirements

  • prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including day and night
  • friendly and approachable personality
  • basic knowledge of reservation systems
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • availability to work full-time or part-time shifts

Job Qualifications

  • prior host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • strong greeting and guest-relations abilities
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • knowledge of proper phone etiquette and front-of-house operations
  • familiarity with serving basics and hospitality standards
  • ability to multitask and handle reservations efficiently

Job Duties

  • greet guests warmly as they enter the diner
  • manage guest seating and maintain the waitlist
  • handle reservations and coordinate seating arrangements
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to optimize service flow
  • maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
  • assist guests with inquiries or special requests
  • manage high-volume periods efficiently
