Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience as a host
  • at least 6 months experience in a similar role
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
  • ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
  • customer service oriented
  • ability to work collaboratively with team members

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years as a host experience
  • at least 6 months experience in a similar capacity
  • must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)

Job Duties

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area
  • attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
  • performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty
  • greets guests warmly and manages seating arrangements
  • coordinates reservations and assists with guest inquiries
  • communicates effectively with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel
  • ensures a positive and welcoming environment for guests
