Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- strong verbal communication skills
- ability to work on feet for extended hours
- certified food handler within the county of employment
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- adherence to grooming and appearance standards
- basic proficiency with point of sale systems
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Answer phones in a professional manner with proper etiquette
- multitask effectively by placing guests on hold to assist in-person guests and vice versa
- maintain a sense of urgency throughout the shift
- act as a supportive team member by recognizing areas to assist staff and guests
- assist in food running, refills, and other table service tasks when needed
- stay updated on current menu choices, specials, and any kitchen stock shortages
- maintain clean and stocked stations and restrooms through frequent status checks
- suggest dishes, inform guests about food preparation details, and communicate specific customer needs to cooks
- maintain proper dining experience by delivering items and fulfilling guest needs both over the phone and in-store
- adhere to sidework duties, restaurant policies, and health department requirements
- maintain food handler certification within the county of employment
- uphold excellent menu and allergen knowledge
- work on feet for long hours
- lift up to 50 lbs
- accept guest payments, issue receipts, and return change
- perform basic cleaning tasks as directed
- fill in for absent staff as needed
- assist with special events
- greet all guests and owners warmly
- adhere to grooming and appearance standards
- understand and communicate products and services available
- make efforts to improve overall menu knowledge
