The Host/Hostess position at Ted's Cafe Escondido is crucial in shaping the first impressions of guests as they enter the restaurant. The role also involves familiarity with all four host positions—runner, greeter, hospitality, and podium—and requires the ability to multitask and work under pressure during busy service times. Physical demands include standing or walking for over eight hours daily and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
