This is a part-time position at an hourly rate of $13. The Host role at Condado Tacos is a critical first touchpoint for every guest walking through the door. The primary responsibility is to warmly welcome guests with a smile and set positive expectations for their dining experience. Hosts serve as the face of the restaurant, creating an inviting atmosphere where every guest feels appreciated and valued. Beyond greeting guests, the Host also manages the flow of the restaurant, coordinating seating and waitlists using modern tools like tablets. Additionally, the Host handles telephone inquiries, and because carryout orders are significant to the business model, hosts are responsible for the efficient handoff of these orders to the customers. Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand or walk for 4 to 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to perform hand and wrist movements including grasping, bending, and twisting
  • Ability to reach above shoulder level, kneel, and squat
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in team cleaning and bussing duties
