Moreover, the role includes personalized guest engagement, using guests' names and recording preferences to enhance repeat visit experiences.

This is a position that prioritizes excellent interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The employee is expected to display courteous hospitality and ensure that guests’ needs are met promptly, reflecting the casino's commitment to quality service. The environment is moderate in noise and typically smoky, which individuals must be prepared to accept. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, requiring some degree of physical fitness.

Job Duties

  • Handles initial cordial reception to the guests upon arrival and provides a prompt courteous escort to a dining table
  • answers telephones and takes reservations
  • verifies reservations and complimentaries, if applicable
  • maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy
  • seats guests according to established rotation procedure, distributes menus and introduces the staff
  • answers any guest questions and refers them, if necessary, to appropriate management personnel
  • monitors guests' needs, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled in accordance with policies and procedures
