Job Description
Maggiano's Little Italy is a celebrated Italian-American restaurant known for its warm atmosphere, classic dishes, and commitment to bringing people together to celebrate family and friendship. Founded by Norman Brinker, a pioneer of the casual dining experience, Maggiano's has become a beloved brand under Brinker International, a leader in the restaurant industry. Located across various cities with thousands of restaurants operated by the parent company, Maggiano's offers guests a unique dining experience that balances tradition, quality, and community engagement.
The role of Host at Maggiano's is essential in creating the first and last impression for guests dining at the restaurant. Hosts serve as the initial greeting point, warmly welcoming guests and ensuring they are comfortably seated. The position demands a friendly, efficient, and professional approach to managing reservations, answering phone inquiries, and maintaining an accurate waitlist during busy periods. Hosts embody the spirit of The Maggiano's Way, a company culture that values hospitality, teamwork, and a genuine passion for connecting with others.
In this role, Hosts contribute significantly to the guest experience by facilitating smooth seating arrangements and ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they enter to their departure. They play a pivotal role in special events such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthdays, and baby showers, helping create unforgettable memories for families and friends. Beyond just seating guests, Hosts at Maggiano's embrace the deeper mission of the company—bringing people together to share joy and celebration.
Working at Maggiano's means joining a team that supports one another, values continuous learning, and provides numerous opportunities for career growth, including specialized training programs and possible global training roles. The company offers competitive earning potential alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' health, financial security, and personal development. Employees are encouraged to enjoy dining discounts, participate in rewards and recognition programs, and benefit from various savings plans.
Moreover, Maggiano's is deeply invested in community involvement and philanthropic efforts, supporting organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the North Texas Food Bank. This reinforces the restaurant's commitment to making a positive impact both locally and beyond. The culture at Maggiano's is one of inclusivity, belonging, and fun, fostering an environment where employees are motivated to perform at their best while enjoying their work life.
Overall, the Host position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, guest-focused environments and want to be part of a company with a strong heritage and a heartfelt mission. If you enjoy engaging with people, managing multiple tasks with poise, and contributing to memorable guest experiences, Maggiano's offers a rewarding place to grow and succeed.
