This full-time, non-management position is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, at 601 S College St. The role centers on providing first-rate guest service as a Host or Hostess within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. The primary responsibility is to warmly greet guests upon arrival, ascertain the number of guests in their party, and seat them efficiently by selecting suitable tables, pulling out chairs, and providing menus. This role involves guiding guests through the dining area, addressing any special seating needs, and ensuring all table settings meet high standards of cleanliness and readiness, including napkins, silverware, and menus that are wrinkle-free and current.

The Host/Hostess is also tasked with maintaining a clean and pleasant dining environment by adhering to clean-as-you-go procedures. Vigilance in monitoring seating availability, guest safety, and overall dining experience quality is essential. Additionally, this position requires compliance with company safety policies, prompt reporting of any unsafe conditions, and participation in recommended safety training and certifications. An impeccable personal appearance and professional demeanor are expected, alongside maintaining confidentiality and protecting the company’s assets.

Communication skills play a crucial role, as the Host must greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards, engage in polite and clear conversation, and manage telephone communications with proper etiquette. Fostering teamwork and positive working relationships is essential to support a harmonious and productive work environment. Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and occasionally moving or lifting light objects. Job Duties
