Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to work a flexible daytime schedule
excellent communication skills
strong customer service orientation
physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods
ability to carry up to 20 pounds
prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required

Job Duties

Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary
keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests
wipe and set tables, replace condiments, or other supplies
scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
run food as needed to both bar and server’s tables
assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
respond to any guest's requests during the shift
