Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
  • Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
  • Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary
  • Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests
  • Wipe and set tables, replace condiments, or other supplies
  • Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
  • Running food as needed to both bar and server’s tables
  • Assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
  • Respond to any guest's requests during the shift
