The company's commitment to positivity, teamwork, and inclusivity fosters a supportive atmosphere that encourages all employees to thrive and feel valued as part of the OSF family. Known for its delicious food and attentive service, The Old Spaghetti Factory continues to be a destination where guests can enjoy memorable dining experiences in a comfortable and friendly setting.
Now, The Old Spaghetti Factory is seeking a dedicated Host/Busser to join their dynamic team. This dual role involves greeting guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and efficiently managing seating arrangements to ensure smooth guest flow. As a Host/Busser, you will also be responsible for maintaining clean and well-prepared tables by bussing and resetting them, as well as restocking supplies so that every dining experience runs seamlessly. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $17.40 while working as a Host and $17.13 while functioning as a Busser, with the added benefit of earning tips, making it a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and customer service.
Success in this role depends on a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all guests. You will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their visit, and ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable. Additionally, maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company standards are essential duties. Flexibility is important as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop throughout shift, and lift up to 40 pounds is also required.
Joining The Old Spaghetti Factory team means becoming part of a company that values its employees and offers various benefits, including paid training, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities for career advancement. Employees also enjoy discounted meals during shifts and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits aligned with the Affordable Care Act. For those eligible, a 401(k) plan is available, alongside support services such as an Employee Assistance Program, well-being advisory, prescription savings, and financial counseling.
