At Pacific Catch, the Host Busser position is a pivotal role that combines customer service with essential restaurant operations to create an extraordinary guest experience. As a Host Busser, you will be the first face guests see when they arrive, responsible for welcoming and seating them with warmth and efficiency. You will introduce the menu, handle guest inquiries, and maintain the flow of the dining area by managing the waitlist and assisting with beverage services during peak times. This position demands a high level of hospitality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every guest feels attended to and appreciated throughout their visit. Furthermore, the Host Busser is entrusted with maintaining cleanliness in the dining and common areas, setting and resetting tables with complete place settings, and handling financial transactions accurately.

This role reports directly to the General Manager and is classified as a part-time, non-exempt position with variable scheduling that includes weekend availability, reflecting the dynamic nature of the restaurant industry. The compensation for this position is competitive at $19.18 per hour. Job Qualifications

  • High school education
  • minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant or customer service industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests by welcoming and inviting them in
  • seat guests and introduce the menu
  • answer the phone and respond to guest questions
  • maintain the table waitlist and assist with beverage service during peak seating times
  • accurately handle cash and all financial transactions
  • clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings
  • maintain cleanliness of dining and common areas
  • assist other team members during downtime
  • notify leadership of guest comments or complaints
