Job Description
The Old Spaghetti Factory is a well-established, family-owned restaurant chain with a rich history that dates back to 1969. Known for delivering authentic Italian cuisine along with exceptional service, it prides itself on fostering a positive work environment where teamwork and a sense of belonging are the cornerstones of its culture. With 42 locations spanning 12 states, from Honolulu to Louisville, this company has grown substantially while maintaining its commitment to quality food and personalized customer care. The restaurant’s friendly and personable team members work together to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience, reflecting the company’s dedication to both its customers and employees alike.
The Old Spaghetti Factory is currently seeking a Host/Busser to join its dynamic team. This role is unique in its dual nature, combining hosting responsibilities with bussing duties to create a seamless and welcoming customer experience. As a Host/Busser, you will be the first face that guests see, responsible for greeting and seating them with a warm and genuine attitude. You will also manage the guest flow, waitlists, and seating arrangements to optimize efficiency and ensure fairness. On the bussing side, you will maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area by resetting tables, restocking supplies, and adhering to sanitation standards to uphold the restaurant’s professional image.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage, with $12.50 per hour while working as a Host and $7.25 per hour as a Busser, plus the opportunity to earn tips. The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a positive and approachable demeanor. Successful candidates will be flexible, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
In return for your dedication and hard work, The Old Spaghetti Factory offers numerous benefits, such as paid training, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, discounts on meals during shifts, and opportunities for career advancement. Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the Affordable Care Act, are available to eligible employees. Additionally, the company provides a robust Employee Assistance Program featuring a 24/7 Well-Being Advisor, prescription savings, credit, housing, and debt counseling services, as well as life insurance and AD&D insurance. Employees can also take advantage of a Verizon Wireless discount, making this a comprehensive package for those who want to grow their career in a supportive and rewarding environment.
If you are enthusiastic, hardworking, and ready to contribute to a team that values positivity and excellent service, the Host/Busser position at The Old Spaghetti Factory could be the perfect fit. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online or visit in person between 2-4 PM to begin their journey with a company that truly cares about its people and their development.
