The company operates 42 locations across 12 states, from Honolulu to Louisville, embracing a culture rooted in positivity, teamwork, and a true sense of belonging for all its employees. As a company deeply committed to its staff, The Old Spaghetti Factory promotes a supportive environment where every team member is valued and encouraged to grow.

The role of Host/Busser at The Old Spaghetti Factory is a vital dual position that balances the responsibilities of greeting and seating guests with maintaining clean and orderly dining areas. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they enter the restaurant until their dining experience concludes. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for managing waitlists, taking reservations, and assigning tables efficiently to provide a smooth guest flow. As a Busser, you will support the restaurant team by promptly clearing and resetting tables, restocking necessary items, and ensuring the dining area maintains high standards of cleanliness and readiness.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and a positive, friendly demeanor. Being approachable and communicating effectively with both guests and team members is essential to excel in this role. Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays is also required due to the nature of the restaurant industry. This position demands physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop throughout the shift, and lift up to 40 pounds safely.

Regarding compensation, while working as a Host, the pay rate is $12.50 per hour, and while working as a Busser, the pay rate is $7.25 per hour plus tips. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hourly pay combined with tip earnings, along with the chance to be part of a vibrant and supportive team.

Overall, working at The Old Spaghetti Factory means joining a respected and long-standing brand that values its employees' contributions and fosters career advancement opportunities. The company offers competitive benefits, including paid training, flexible scheduling, medical, dental, and vision coverage in line with the Affordable Care Act, a 401(k) plan for eligible employees, and other valuable perks.
