The position available is for Host-Bussers, a critical role that forms the first and last impression of the guests' dining experience. Host-Bussers at Islands Restaurants are energetic and outgoing individuals responsible for welcoming guests enthusiastically and ensuring excellent flow and seating control. The role involves close collaboration with servers to maintain cleanliness in the dining area and restrooms, uphold seating rotation, manage the waitlist efficiently, and complete various opening, closing, and weekly maintenance tasks. This job requires a passion for guest service and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. The employment is part-time or full-time at minimum wage plus tips, with opportunities for competitive earnings and career advancement. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to the work location
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Acknowledge guests with an enthusiastic welcome and appreciative goodbye
- Positively interact with guests as they enter and ensure proper seating rotation and wait list procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and the restrooms
- Complete opening or closing duties and weekly maintenance
- Work closely with servers to clean and reset tables
- Ensure smooth guest flow and seating management
- Provide exceptional guest service and support to team members
