Job Requirements
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts per week
- Upbeat, positive attitude
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Organized, high attention to detail
- Craft beer knowledge is a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience as a host or in a similar role within a restaurant setting
- Familiarity with reservation management systems
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to a table or the bar
- Communicate with the waitstaff and bar about new tables and guests
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room by bussing tables, running glassware through dishwasher, sweeping floors, rolling silverware, tidying bathrooms
- Observe and predict the needs of guests and coworkers
- Answer phone for to-go orders and answer customer questions
