The Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting them promptly and warmly, maintaining the flow of the dining room by managing the waitlist and reservations accurately, and providing guests with estimated wait times. This position requires someone who enjoys interacting with people, can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintains a positive and friendly attitude throughout. Hosts also support other front-of-house and back-of-house team members as needed, contributing to a smooth operation and excellent guest experience. Additionally, the position involves assisting guests with inquiries and directing them appropriately, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to.
