Known for its collection of dedicated professionals aiming to provide exceptional dining experiences, the group operates multiple venues where customer satisfaction and high-quality service are paramount. With a culture that strongly encourages career advancement and professional development, Food Fight Restaurant Group stands out as a supportive employer that values flexibility, education, and leadership progression. The company boasts a leadership team that has grown from within, highlighting its commitment to fostering career growth from entry-level roles. This comprehensive approach to staff development includes flexible scheduling options to accommodate the needs of managers and staff, educational benefits such as tuition reimbursement, and a focus on reducing common stressors in the restaurant industry through autonomy and support. The culture encourages creative autonomy and teamwork, making it an ideal workplace for individuals eager to build a meaningful career in hospitality.

The position of Host and Food Runner at Food Fight Restaurant Group is a hybrid role requiring adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills. The Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for warmly greeting customers, managing reservations and waitlists, and seating guests efficiently while providing menus and addressing any queries about the restaurant or menu options. The role involves handling phone calls and supporting other restaurant staff as needed, which demands a friendly attitude and strong communication skills. As a Food Runner, the employee must ensure the accurate and speedy delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the guests, carefully confirming order specifics and communicating any special requests or allergies to the kitchen or expeditor. This dual-function role provides a varied work experience and requires the employee to be agile, customer-focused, and team-oriented.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $14 to $20, including tips, making it a financially rewarding position within the hospitality industry. The work schedule focuses on weekend morning shifts from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, which suits candidates looking for part-time or supplementary income opportunities. The position demands physical stamina for standing and moving quickly in a busy restaurant environment, a positive attitude, excellent oral communication, and a strong dedication to teamwork.

By joining Food Fight Restaurant Group as a Host and Food Runner, employees become part of a passionate team that values individual growth and collective success. The group provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance with employer contribution, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, and wellness benefits. These benefits underline the group's commitment to supporting employee health and financial security beyond the workplace. This position is ideal for proactive individuals looking to develop their hospitality skills in a vibrant, supportive, and well-established company that prioritizes its people and their career paths.
