Their culture is rooted in minimizing common stressors in the restaurant industry by empowering managers and providing administrative support, creating a positive environment where team members can thrive. The Food Fight Restaurant Group is continually expanding and looking for enthusiastic, customer-service oriented professionals to join their diverse team.
The Host & Food Runner hybrid position at Food Fight Restaurant Group is designed for energetic individuals who love engaging with guests and ensuring seamless service delivery. This dual role requires versatility and efficiency, enabling employees to support front-of-house operations by greeting customers with warmth, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and providing excellent customer service. Hosts are the first point of contact, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and assisting guests with any inquiries, including menu details and restaurant policies. Meanwhile, as a Food Runner, the role demands speed and accuracy in delivering meal orders from the kitchen to the table, ensuring each order meets the exact specifications of the restaurant and guests. Communication is key, as the Food Runner must relay special requests or allergy information clearly to the kitchen staff to maintain guest satisfaction and safety. Employees in this position will receive training for both hosting and food running duties and will be scheduled accordingly, providing a dynamic work environment that varies daily tasks and responsibilities. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility and exposure to multiple facets of restaurant operations. The compensation ranges from $14 to $20 per hour including tips, making it a competitive opportunity for both new and experienced hospitality workers. Benefits are comprehensive with medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance contributions from the employer, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, wellness programs, and additional perks. This position is ideal for those with a great attitude and strong teamwork orientation, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively with guests and team members. Weekend and morning shifts are required, emphasizing Saturday and Sunday availability from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are seeking a role in a progressive restaurant group that values personal growth and offers a supportive team environment, the Host & Food Runner role at Food Fight Restaurant Group is an excellent opportunity to advance your hospitality career.
